Our trip is officially booked and our life is officially crazy. Well, at least now we have a more legitimate excuse to say life is crazy! We're thrilled beyond words to announce our departure date is Friday the 25th, Gotcha Day is Tuesday the 29th (Monday night here in the USA), and our return home is set for Friday the 1st of February. Btw, we're also thrilled the NFL decided to schedule that Off Week right before the Big Game so we can be back home for the festivities. Wasn't that nice of them to accommodate us? Now Brett, you better be playing in that game! Oops, I'm chasing rabbits here...
We are taking a laptop with us and we plan to post as often as possible while we're away. I hope tons of you leave comments so we feel "connected" while we're on the other side of the globe. (Special note to Lynn Z. cause we love her so much: Click on the word "comments" after any post, then type us a clean message where it says "Leave Your Comment." Then under "Choose an Identity," click on "Nickname" and type your name, dear. Or I guess you could click on "Anonymous" and really freak us out. Then click "Publish Comment." Now wasn't that easy?!)
Back to the trip. As you may have already noticed, we kind of like "J" names. SO...it seems only fitting that JORDAN, our only-niece-among-five-nephews-from-both-sides-of-our-family, (WHEW) will be our travel companion. Apparently Uncle Sam thought it was a good idea too cause he issued her passport AND got her an Indian tourist Visa in under 18 days. Can I hear a "prayer works, man!"?? I just hope we don't wear her out too much. Her job titles include: photographer, videographer, extra-pair-of-hands-girl, and all around keeper of my sanity if I can't seem to hold onto it. Now that's a travel companion.
In all seriousness, we treasure the support and prayers from all of you. Don't stop now, ok? The fun is just beginning.
